VAT, Customs, and Business Invoices

How VAT, import charges, and company billing are handled for TamedTail orders.

Prices and VAT

For informational display, the website may use an approximate network location to show either European Union pricing or export pricing automatically. This estimate is not a tax determination and may be inaccurate when a proxy, VPN, mobile network, or other routing service is used.

The checkout calculation based on the delivery country and postal code is the authoritative price and tax calculation. It determines whether VAT is charged and includes the product price, shipping, and applicable VAT before payment.

GroupB Live SL is established in Spain and dispatches TamedTail orders from Spain. While the business remains below the EU-wide EUR 10,000 annual threshold for intra-EU B2C distance sales and has not opted for destination taxation, VAT at 21% is charged on B2C orders delivered in the VAT area and in other EU member states.

The threshold is based on the combined net value of relevant cross-border B2C sales during the current and previous calendar years, not on the value of an individual order. Once destination taxation becomes applicable, the VAT rate of the customer's EU destination will be charged and the policy will be updated.

The Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are outside the VAT area. VAT is not charged for these territories; local IGIC or IPSI, import charges, customs clearance, brokerage, and carrier fees may apply and are paid by the buyer unless explicitly stated otherwise.

For non-EU orders, TamedTail normally does not charge EU VAT. The buyer may have to pay import VAT/GST/sales tax, customs duties, brokerage, and local carrier charges on delivery.

Business invoices

We can issue invoices to companies. The buyer must provide legal company name, billing address, tax ID, VAT ID where applicable, and invoice email.

For EU companies outside Spain, a valid EU VAT number may allow an intra-Community B2B sale without VAT. The VAT ID must be validated before payment.

Until automated company checkout is implemented, business buyers should contact us before ordering if they need VAT reverse-charge treatment or specific invoice details.
