Products

TamedTail products are simracing motion hardware and accessories for consumer and enthusiast use. They are not road vehicle parts, medical devices, industrial lifting systems, or safety equipment.

Product descriptions, dimensions, weights, compatibility notes, production lead times, and included items are shown on each product page. Small engineering or packaging changes may be made if they do not reduce the product's core function.

Software licence and intellectual property

Purchase of a TamedTail system includes a non-exclusive licence to use the supplied TamedTail Windows app and controller firmware with a legitimately acquired TamedTail system. The sale does not transfer ownership of the software, source code, firmware, interfaces, documentation, trademarks, or original visual assets.

The legitimate owner or user of the system may install the Windows app on the reasonable number of compatible computers needed to use that system. The software may not be redistributed, sold separately, sublicensed, presented as the user's own work, or used to provide unauthorized copies or access.

TamedTail's essential real-time operation — receiving supported simulator telemetry, processing it in the Windows app, communicating with the controller, and producing movement — is designed to operate locally and does not require continuous access to a TamedTail cloud service. Internet access may be required to obtain the installer, validate an entitlement, download updates, or use optional online and support services.

Safety and security updates address documented risks and may be identified as required where reasonably necessary and proportionate. Compatibility updates maintain supported Windows, simulator, app, firmware, or hardware combinations. Optional feature updates are not mandatory. We will identify affected versions and material operational consequences where reasonably possible and will not use updates or online services as a general mechanism to withdraw essential local functionality from a legitimately acquired system.

Current compatibility and support information is provided with the product, downloads, or support documentation. Support and update obligations apply for the period required by applicable consumer and conformity law and for any longer period expressly stated at the time of sale. Indefinite compatibility with future third-party operating systems or simulator versions is not promised unless expressly stated.

The restrictions above do not limit any act expressly permitted by mandatory applicable law, including rights relating to legitimate use, backup copies, observation, study, testing, error correction, and interoperability. They also do not override rights granted under an applicable third-party or open-source licence.

Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their own licence terms, notices, attribution requirements, and source-code obligations. Those terms prevail for the relevant component.

Orders and payment

Orders are paid through Stripe Checkout. Stripe handles the customer payment receipt and payment confirmation email.

For informational display, the website may use an approximate network location to show either European Union pricing or export pricing automatically. This estimate is not a tax determination and may be inaccurate when a proxy, VPN, mobile network, or other routing service is used. The checkout calculation based on the delivery country and postal code is authoritative and includes the product price, shipping, and applicable VAT charged together before payment. We do not accept an order unless shipping has also been paid.

An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and the order appears in our order system. If a pricing, stock, payment, fraud, or shipping error occurs, we may cancel and refund the order.

Production Lead Time

TamedTail products are produced through a variable operations queue. The product page and checkout copy show the current estimated production lead time.

Production lead times are estimates and may change with demand, parts availability, testing, and fulfillment capacity. If a material delay occurs, we will contact the buyer with an updated estimate and available options.

Business invoices

Business customers can request an invoice in the company name. We need the legal company name, billing address, tax ID, VAT ID where applicable, and invoice email.

For companies established in Spain, VAT normally applies. For EU companies outside Spain with a valid EU VAT number, the sale may be treated without VAT under the applicable intra-EU B2B rules. For non-EU companies, VAT and import handling depend on destination and export documentation.

Business VAT treatment must be validated before payment. If a company needs reverse-charge or tax-exempt treatment, contact us before ordering.

Consumer complaints

Customers should contact us via the support page first so we can resolve the issue directly.

Consumer complaints and incidents will be answered as soon as possible and within the legally required period. For Europe-based operations, we are prepared to provide or process official complaint forms where required by consumer regulations.

Use and safety

The buyer must read the setup and safety instructions before using the product. The system must be installed only on a suitable rigid sim rig and used within the published limits.

Do not use damaged cables, bypass safety controls, modify the actuator, operate the system near children or pets, or use it while anyone can be trapped by moving parts.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain fully applicable.

For any dispute arising from or relating to this contract, both parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the seller's domicile (Tarragona, Spain), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules that may apply under applicable EU or Spanish law.
